BonkFi will utilize a soft DAO governance model. The developer team will have full, unrestricted permission in minor decisions such as the day to day operations of the project. For example, the devs will not require community voting approval in the market neutral strategies they choose to utilize and how they manage the fund.

The community will vote on big decisions that will affect or change the whole project and community. For example, The community will vote on whether to approve or reject any proposed changes to the treasury fund allocation.

Only developers can make proposals for community voting.

We have chosen this model to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of day to day operations while also ensuring the voice and intent of the community is heard.
